4 stars It's kind of amazing it has taken me this long to review this classic Tull album. Along with SONGS FROM THE WOOD, this cemented Tull's reputation as a great Folk-Prog band. While these 2 albums retained much of the more classic-prog vibe of Tull's earlier work, they also had shorter songs and a medieval flair. Highlights here are "Moth", "One Brown Mouse", Heavy Horses" and the dark and brooding "No Lullaby". No bad tunes are to be found anywhere on this disc. The band is at it's peak musically, and Ian is at his peak lyrically. An almost perfect album, only a small step below it's predecessor, and a step above what was on the horizon. 4 stars (4 1/2 really).
