EVERY GOOD BOY DESERVES FAVOUR

Incredible to think that it is still only 1971 and the catalogue of Moodey Blues material is already in abundance. Every Good Boy Deserves favour whilst interesting at times kind of loses it's appeal about half way through. Whether it is because it is too much of the same laid out musical formula or because the material is quite not up to scratch I am not too sure. I think the latter is the case. I do like the closer ' My Song' and the equally appealing ' After You Came' Two and a half stars is a fair rating for this album and still a recommendation for prog enthusiasts.
