STORM CORROSION

To tell you the truth, I expected much more of this album. Especially when I heard the first track "Drag Ropes", which is by far the best track of the album. After that, all the songs remain practically the same, with quiet playing, drumming nuances, some soft voices by Wilson, guitar figures, some kind-of-Ummagumma noises, etc. Knowing Wilson and Akerfeldt past, I was waiting for an album different to Porcupine Tree and Opeth, something far but ... I think they went too far and did not want to exploit all their potential! If they work together in another album, I hope they make a complete album similar to Drag Ropes.
