5 stars it's hard to be objective about an album that has sentimental/nostalgic value but i think i can say that the Moody's hit a high note here--a space and place in time uniquely captured as only the MB's could do it. another reviewer was right to compare this and other Moody's albums with classical music--the band's 60's output has aged well all things considered and "On theThreshold of a Dream" may be the best of the lot. listening to this album off and on over the years has been a rich and rewarding experience for me and the emotional responses intiated by some of these songs, especially the last half of the record("Have you Heard" pts 1 and 2) are sublime. i posess a double cassette of "Threshold" and " 'Lost Chord " and play 'em back to back every time.
