2 stars For the longest time I thought that this was the worst album in Yes's history...until 1997. I know it's an unpopular statement, but I like the Yes West songs MUCH better than the ABWH songs. Although the notes here show the main players, on most of the ABWH songs there are guest musicians who either overdubbed or replaced the parts of Yes players. This provides the least Yes like product that has ever been released.

Lift Me Up is one of the most Yes sounding songs that Yes West ever did, and I feel it is worthy of much of their other material. The song Saving My Heart is also a good song, if not the best example of a Yes song.

The rest of the album is a motely collection of songs, poorly arranged, and muddied in their arrangement. No wonder Wakeman calles this album Onion. He always has a way with fruit and vegetables.

This is a two star album, only because of the inclusion of Lift Me Up, otherwise it's strictly a one star album.
