1 stars Emerson, Lake and Palmer's Love Beach is an album that would have been better not having been recorded. But they had a contract to fulfill, so we get this swill. This is arguably the worst prog album of all time, especialy when you consider the artist.

Of the songs on here, the only one that I can stomach is Canario, which is just an interpretation of anothers work. The self penned material is a complete waste, with only The Memoirs of an Officer and a Gentleman being even remotely interesting - and that's as good as it gets, remotely interesting. The rest is a wasteland.

From the stupid cover of the band in open shirt "glory" to the insipid tracks on the album, this should not have been perpetrated on the paying public. It's an embarasement.
