DIACRONIA METRONOMICHE

A great live recordin from this very versatile Italian prog group. Very hard to determine what this music is but one thing is certain: it is well done! Also the sound quality is excellent.Somehow this music resenmles to me Grand Wazoo by Zappa. Maby because of the stron electric guitar and violin solos and the hectic rhytm of the album. There are more laid back moments too and a lot of air but al the time players are playing in full force or emotion. The latin singin and somehow clumpsy melodies don't make this easier to get into but really when you start listening you must admit that this is , like, genious! An absolute must to all who are interested in modern prog. Jazzy, rocky, even avantgarde. 4 stars.
