4 stars Tiles- quite often tagged as "The next Rush" Is that comparison true? I guess its up to you. This band is HUGELY underrated. And by underrated, I mean rarely talked about on the archives. Having all of Tiles albums- I must say that this is my favorite album of theirs- it is musically tight with intelligent lyrics.

This album is a musical gem.The instrumental "Ballad of the Sacred Cows" was the song I heard 1st, which later lead me to buy the album. (Hey- don't tell me you have never purchased an album after hearing 1 song) In this track they prove that they can play in many different time signatures and complex rythems- AND with taste.

I was so pleased to hear great songs such as "Static" (Listen for the Geddy Synth :) - and other 5 star songs such as Safe Procedures and Reasonable Doubt.

I guess I do see them in the same vein as Rush- which is why I can't give this album 5 stars- but is 4 stars a shame? I hope not! If you dig Rush (and that includes their awesome music of the 80's)- you NEED this album.
