EPILOG

I would like to compare this album to LOCANDA DELLE FATE's one studio album. Both are fine and immediately likeable albums, but when you sit down, close your eyes and listen they strike you with their beauty and subtlety. Epilog has been compared to a fine wine which need patience and attention to be appreciated in all its intricacy. And that is indeed true. This music offers so much for those who take the time. But it can also be gulped down for the intoxicating experience, and ÄNGLAGÅRD will dazzle you with their complexity and aggressivity. I don't feel the need to describe the music further as there's plenty of information in other reviews. This album is a masterpiece! Give it a chance.
