5 stars I think the three first songs are good, although consisting of repeating choruses - getting some usa's west coast 70's and 80's pro-punk pop music to it's utmost. And, actually they are good (also hits, but I think it and the songs are ironic, still humour not being the main idea), still prog and experimental. Three other songs are almost zeuhl. Name song is brilliant, the next is good jam, and the last is weird opera. Somehow I think this is theme album. At least very variating but clear. This is not crazy guitar stuff - free éxperimental jazz, but considered (maybe other zappa is too, but doesn't always sound like that). Some prog-likers may find this irritating, but shouldn't.
