![]() A brilliant Turkish/French band form the early 80's but isn't NeoProg!! Inffluenced by Camel and Jethro -amongst others- the sound of every song of this album is totally symphonic, starting with the jazzy intro of "Nightwind" and ending with the heavy guitar of the last notes of "Dreadful Memories". Asia Minor gives a solid performance based on a superb work on keyboards, guitar and flute, and overall on drums. Complex composition and arrangements for the two first songs -"Nightwind" and "Northern Lights"- with powerful instrumental passages between symph and fusion; a beautiful and melacholic ballad -"Boundless"- as a necessary pause before "Dedicace", another powerful prog song and then, another great melancholic ballad that progress into an athmospheric and almost epic piece -"Lost in a Dream Yell". At the end "Dreadful Memories" almost a jam based on a progression on guitar and bass that turns very heavy second by second. This album is a nice surpirse for all those who belive that the 80's was just a bunch of NeoProg bands. A masterpice, without a doubt!!
