4 stars To me this CD has great similarities to DREAM THEATER'S FALLING TO INFINITY:

1. An album that both bands didn't get to release the way they didn't want it be 2. both bands had different members after this album but however were of different instruments 3. both albums had songs the band was gonna put it but the labels didn't want it and time ran out which meant parts of the song was put on the next album.

Anywa enough of the compare and contrast essay I honestly haven't heard much people talk about how cool this album is i feel well down right wrong for not getting TWILLIGHT IN OLYMPUS as soon as possible because i thought it was gonna be one of them dissappointing albums that a band makes when they are on a huge roll. Turns out i was wrong their are alot of great songs in here. First of we start with two of my favorites with SMOKE AND MIRRORS with a big time power metal influence along with some cool dueling solos by PINNELA AND ROMEO then the very progressive CHURCH OF THE MACHINE oooooh how i love this song and the way it ends makes you wanna hear more. Then come the piano segue of SONATA which in a way was something i was suspecting and surprised at the fact there was a little guitar at the end. Then comes INTO THE DRAGONS DEN man this has got to be SX at their heaviest as they bring out the full on impact with fast guitar, great double bass, and probably one of the coolest Bass wah solos i ever heard (GAH MILLER WHY!!! DID YOU LEAVE) then comes a great epic THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS not much i can say about this song as each member seems to really pull out the goods on this song. Then comes some very underated tracks most people don't really talk about. THE RELIC is another great symphony metal song that i think is a good track. ORION THE HUNTER welll basically when i saw the title i was like man this one is gonna be a great prog metal and boy was i right. LADY OF THE SNOW kinda dissappointed me it kinda made me think it belong to either their first two albums. So either way i love this but however i still wish they would've had that TWILLIGHT epic they planned on but if they did we wouldn't have V and plus the last track just didn't seem to grab and it would've been great if JASON RULLO was on this album i mean i don't think TOM is bad he just didn't grab me enough. 4 stars
