4 stars I realize that many people are somewhat critical of this album, especially as it was basically the swan song of a wonderful pop rock band. However, my college friends and I listened to this on a very often-ish basis while hanging out, partying, and doing all the other things we did besides studying. Because of this, I developed a soft spot for Let It Be. I even enjoy the little "filler" ditties like Maggie Mae. While this is more of a blues-pop-rock-folk album, and not really a progressive album, it is still wonderful. It is also very much a product of it's time, while never sounding dated to my ears. Not a 5 star effort masterpiece by any means, but certainly deserving of a solid 4 stars.
