3 stars The experimantation was gone. The Beatles once were pioneers in the development in rock. Especially the Revolver and Sgt. Peppers were real groundbreaking records. This time actually has passed by the time Let It Be came out. Sure, there are some nice songs on this record, like Across The Universe, Let It Be and others, but expect no innovation at all.

Let is be is a pop-record which has some fine moments. After all the Beatles were aboth average songwriters and had two great vocalists. They also had that nice organ sound and garage sounding guitars.

Just three stars for these giants in Rock "n Roll.
