4 stars I discovered this band via a bargain bucket where i bought the excellent "the dangers of strangers" and was shocked to hear alan reed from pallas. A few months later the band were playing a gig in glasgow and i went along and bought the entire back catolouge, in my defence there was a very good cider promotion that night and i was very, very drunk. None the less, this is an outstanding album, it does have a few rough edges, but on a whole it is well worth a listen.

some of the tracks are quite similar to mid period genesis(which neo-prog artist doesn't!)

But it is worthit just for the track "The dead zone" roughly based on the stephen king novel. It has very good musicianship all round, particularly hew montgomery's keyboards.

If it was a bit better produced i would give it 5 stars, but don't let this put you off.
