3 stars What a support!

Introduction

Ok this is my first lil addition to progarchieves (Hurray!!) and it comes from a deep search about ProjeKcts in general (so if I've some time you'll get some more reviews of them). Back to the album now... This P6 is made of only two: Fripp & Belew, so no Court this time, only the King and the Grand Chamberlain playing lonely.

Main Theme

Obviously this hour of music is pure improvvisation and you find it out after a quick look at the tracks' name: see the cities? Well it's the East Coast indeed! ProjeKct Six was the support group for Porcupine Tree's FoaBP tour, for those who don't know Fripp & Belew performed some parts in that album (Especially frippertronics in Way Out Of Here), about tracks we get some nice pieces of improvvisation and enjoyable melodies, even if repeated Time Groove & Queer Jazzchange every time! While Fripp make a really nice solo Belew don't look so smart and efficient on the V-Drums even with some nice counterpoints, more music comes from the other tracks in Boston part (skip Threshold P6), in NYC part you get the strong Mission Possible and another Queer Jazz, heavyer than Boston's execution, while Persian E from Keswick is a more dynamical song (maybe they thought it before, since is the only piece of music that follow a path with a beginning & an end) working fine in this improvvisation disc.

Coda

Good album in the overall, the hour of jam session is well spent and worth more listenings, especially if you like eclectic music, so 3 stars, and I say it straight and clear buy it only if you enjoy the experimentation from ProjeKcts it's not for your ears if you like a structured music, but still a great album from excellent musicians.
