5 stars This is one of my favorite albums of all time. This is not the most complex music, but it is very melodic and beautiful. The Italian vocals, though ocassionally a bit harsh, are generally fitting of the music and solid. The songs flow together and could almost be one continuous track if not for the breaks in between.

The musicians are talented and play well together. This album has some unforgettable melodies and themes and is just generally wonderful to listen to.

I would consider most of Banco's music to be a bit more frenetic overall than Locanda Delle Fate's and probably more complex and intricate as a whole. However, this album stands alone in its sheer beauty.
