It was released in October, 1973 "7(Seven)". Hugh Hopper secedes by the former work. This work is not a free jazz. It is a work that emphasized the Electric jazz of "6" further. The lucidity of the theme, solo, and the riff came at the case. However, original music of SOFT MACHINE was not lost. The overall sound thinks near "3" or more than "4" and "5". Moreover, a long tune is lost and the number of short works has increased. It was recorded in July, 1973.
