5 stars The year 2000 began with the release of this album, which I think is one of the best of the new millennium. I was not very impressed of the previous albums of Arena, it seemed they weren't too imaginative and, above all, in my opinion the voice was very flat. With "Immortal?" the band gave a sharp turn to his way of making music, putting a singer (Sowden) much more dynamic and expressive, while the music has become more aggressive, becoming almost prog metal. In this way, Immortal? is a work full of energy, passion and pure melody. All the songs are wonderful, with particular attention to the almost theatrical "Butterfly Man", the beautiful ballad "Friday's Dream" , but above all the epic "Moviedrome", a true masterpiece, 20 minutes of great inventions, beautiful melodies, amazing licks between guitar and keyboards. By far the best album of Arena.
