YESTERDAYS

In 1975, the individual band members of Yes took time off to reflect and record solo albums. YESTERDAYS appeared as a stopgap release, a single disc compilation anthologizing some of the band's earliest material. As most fans latched onto them with THE YES ALBUM, it allowed a glimpse of the earlier material. It also included the single-only B-side "Dear Father" and a ten-minute rendition of Simon and Garfunkel's "America".

The latter two are easily available as bonus tracks on the remastered CD's by Rhino, making YESTERDAYS utterly superfluous.
