HORIZEN

Other than the track Caribbean Wave, which sounds like nothing else on the album, I was underwhelmed. Before I ever heard the album, I remember thinking that it would be nice to hear Jade Warrior add some electronic sounds to their mix. Well, maybe so, but not the kind of synth sounds they employ here. Even in the 80's, when there wasn't such a glut of crappy New Age synth music, I thought this was generic and uninspired. I kept the LP, but never upgraded to the CD that was recently issued for the first time.
