TUBULAR BELLS

I suppose this album was my first real introduction to the world of instrumental music, and indeed one of the first prog albums I heard. Safe to say it was pretty life-altering not least because it also introduced me to the albums of Mike Oldfield, who would easily be my favourite solo artist of all-time.

As time has gone on I have found myself returning to it less and less, mostly because there are actually numerous albums in Oldfield's catalogue that I personally enjoy more than this one. That said, it's still a classic that I would never want to be without a physical copy of.
