2 stars When Pavlov's Dog would come to Greece, I began delving into the rest of their catalogue and not just the first two albums. Although I discovered their worth-checking third album, I can't say I wondered how I lived so long without this one. Initially I liked it much better but not anymore, in fact I scratch my head why did I ever buy it. The album is easily digested which is not a bad thing. What IS a bad thing, though, is the lack of edge, punch, versatility. In fact they could come up with an EP consisting of four tracks (title-track, A Hardly Innocent Mind, Pantomime and Brown Eyes) which would be, at least, decent. Don't Rain on Me was the "hit" so to speak, of the album but I can't see why. All the rest of the songs are uninteresting, lukewarm, to put it mildly, unimaginably (for the caliber of Pavlov's Dog, but not only) boring and I don't think I will ever come back to check out if I'm wrong.
