2 stars I had a hard time with this one figuring out if I like it or not. I see that I have streamed it several times and the question remains...but I guess if I'm still wondering the answer must be no, or, to be more precise, not that much. Finally George (whoever that may be) is a "a well-known sound artist in Hamburg's studio scene" and he has "always been inspired by progressive bands such as Genesis, Blackfield and Supertramp". My opinion is that the influences from Blackfield (and Porcupine Tree) are more evident. All of the songs speak of separation and the pain it brings. Still, they are not your every-day love songs since odd-meters are all around and occasionally they take some unexpected turns. But I have to say none of them thrilled me from start to finish. Some, like the opener Tears of a Million Lies, She, Time Stands Still, the darker Human and the title-track with the wonderful strings, appealed to me a bit more. Others, like I'll Be There, Way Home or Remember Me sound too tasteless to my ears. Sometimes I'm much put off by the cheesy lyrics. Still, I would recommend this release to listeners who like their prog music a bit poppier with some heavy guitars thrown in.

As I said, I'm still torn between "Fans only" and "Good, but not essential" but right now I'm going for "definitely for fans for this type of prog".
