3 stars I got to know the band when inspecting the concert timeline at a local venue and saw the link to "Black metal/Avantgarde Metal". The concert was pretty good with the strong frontman and overall live experience so I bought what I considered to be their heaviest album. In retrospective, I don't regret buying it because the band creates a rather unique blend of post-black-metal echoes (sometimes vocals), ornate clean voice singing, it rocks convincingly and doesn't afraid to experiment. It was later that I got to know the band called Arcturus which I considered similar in the approach but stronger in songwriting and uniqueness. The album remains an average item in my tiny avantgarde metal collection.
