5 stars In October 1969, the very not famous band released their first studio album. This surrealist work, full of originality, caused a huge response in the music circle of the year. The band forwent blues-based rock and roll and combined elements of jazz, classical and orchestral music to perfectly recombine the solemnity of classical music, the freedom of jazz, and the power of rock. This album is considered to be the world's first and most influential album for the genre of progressive rock music. It's not a rock album, it's not jazz or classical, but it captures the essence of the music with precision, and makes it interact and balance each other. The mysterious, beautiful and philosophical lyrics opened up the development pattern of avant-garde rock in the future, and became an extremely difficult benchmark for later generations to cross. is their most successful album and is widely regarded as one of the most important and recognizable albums in avant-garde/art rock.
