SOMEWHERE IN TIME

This release is the first time we really see Iron Maiden flirting with experimentation, and do they pull it off?...well of course they do its Iron Maiden...well yes to a certain extent they do, its not 100% perfect like their classic albums are, and there is one or two filler songs (i dont really care much for THE LONELINESS OF A LONG DISTANCE RUNNER or ALEXANDER THE GREAT too much) but the rest make up for a pretty great album. The opener CAUGHT SOMEWHERE IN TIME, has some great synths and quite a catchy chorus, WASTED YEARS is a verry, verry catchy song, and i just love DEJA VU, STRANGER IN A STRANGE LAND and HEAVEN CAN WAIT, they are all classic Maiden...so overall, a very good album and a high 4 stars :)

CONCLUSION: This is a great album, yet another highly rated Iron Maiden album
