4 stars 6/10 This album is.. divisive. I suppose it's a fitting end to Crimson's studio output, while not a terrible album (better than the last 4) it still has it's low points, especially 'Facts of Life' and 'Happy With What You Have to be Happy With'. However, when this album is good, it's GOOD. 'Level Five' and 'Dangerous Curves' are both great, and the poppy 'Eyes Wide Open' is pretty good. Overall a decent effort, a lot harder than most of their other songs, but that's neither here nor there. It's still worth checking out I'd say.

I don't know how 'Prog' this album is, it's more progressive metal than rock for most of it. The 4 title tracks are just kinda there, they just seem like filler, some are parts are prettier than others. If you're interested in hearing more, I'd recommend finding the acoustic version of 'Eyes Wide Open' it gives the song a new feel, which I really like.

I do like this album, I'll be listening to it again soon.
