And over the edge................ Oh dear. Yes had wowed fans and critics alike with the sublime Close To The Edge so thought they would go one step further and have 4 side long tracks spread over a double album. In theory this could have been a veritable feast for the ears. What we get though is the equivalent of going to an all-you-can-eat buffet at a curry house but you are only allowed to eat naan bread and raita dip when what you really want is a nice filling vindaloo. Get the reference? Yes- of course you do. TFTO is not a terrible album and has probably the best Roger Dean cover but the music is so thinly spread (there I go again) that there is almost nothing to get your teeth into. Sorry I'm going to stop now- all I can think of is Rick Wakeman's curry. Pathetic. 2 stars
