THE SUN ALSO RISES

I heard about Knight Area quite a long time before this album was released and I don't know why, but I already knew it would be a good album. Maybe it was because of the very nice cover or the line-up? I don't really know.. But what I do know that this album isn't just a good album.. it is an amazing album! It really astonished me the first time I listened it and it still does. The first song 'Beyond' is not even half a minute long, but it immediately shows how fantastic the rest of the album is. It just sounds great. I really love the vocalist Mark Smit. The songs are all beautiful and emotional. In my opinion, this album is one of the best prog albums ever! The only thing I do not like are the female vocals on Mortal Brow. They do not sound very well and clean to me. But maybe I'll get used to them. Anyway, the rest of the song is perfect. This is a must have for every prog fan. I hope Knight Area will be touring our country very soon and also release more albums in the future.
