2 stars It's just kind of....there.

This is one of those "okay we get it albums". A musician comes out with a great debut album, then an album that further launches his career into the mainstream, than takes a break before launching a flat-out masterpiece that he may or may not ever top, and....that's where he messed up. Said musician made the last album so good, it's impossible to even come close to that perfection, so what follows is a tremendous disappointment. The lyrics are the same stuff as before, only this time they're much more uninteresting and not thought-provoking at all. We've seen it before. Okay, we get it.

And that's what "With Teeth" feels like. It's bland, boring and all around lame. It never steps into the "this is just plain AWFUL" territory, but it comes way too close for me to give this anything higher than a 2 star rating.
