3 stars 3 years after a good debut but looking forward to hear more about this American band, come with an better audio sound , great sound engineers can be seen in the work of this album just as it would for their future albums. Aenima, 1996, an album that from the first song "Stinkfist" is a power of energy in all the instruments, some more organized and melodic choruses, giving an atmosphere in the instrumental parts, I mean the parts where the drums and the bass are formidable. in "Eulogy" we can appreciate a rare start with strange sounds, then we have an interesting rhythm with a slow speed with interesting guitar riffs as well as the voice, then gets worse as the song progresses on vocals, giving the style of their debut "undertow "where there was no direction in the music.4:45 begins an aggressive change in large parts on electric guitar, so again and as usual in this band keeps the bass sound while changing to another music scene. 6.00 beautiful change with a sense really aggressive, back to the style of protest in the voice of Mr. Keenan, with great passion and a demanding style, the music of Tool surrounding the field in alternative, metal, hard rock at times and obviously in the progressive-tinged musical direction, we finished the song with a noisy solo instead of being melodic and keenan dramatized voice and powerfull lyrics of the song. now we are in the song called "H" with a start with the guitar distortion, bass is again based on the melody and the energetic drummer and a soft voice Keenan, a good song but never becoming surprising.

With this album Tool is a band that to create 2 albums in 3 years is promising, and returns to meet the expectations shaping their sound to be able to partake in the 2 great albums that would follow. "Useful Idiot" nothing "42 & 2" very promising start something where you can see changes in dyes and progressive atmosphere with a feeling of arrival of something beautiful. One of the issues that used tool in its music is to constantly use a mysterious beginning with clear voices and then the melody often exploited with repetitive choruses taking intermediate bass lines like others. "Hooker with a penis" an aggressive song that really has nothing to do with my taste in music, only if someone has a grudge against someone or something. "Intermission" really sounds like an old organ, actually i really enjoy those 56 seconds of music!.

Jimmy: Following the same theme of the sound of Tool, Jimmy is no exception, the mysterious sounds of the drums under the energetic and stock, another classic Keenard cry, and the next time we hear passages like the style "Black Sabbath" and I might mention to Limp Bizkit. "Die Eier von Satan"-industrial-style sound with vocals in German language. and so we finally got one of my top 10 songs in the history of Tool: "Pushit" returning to the base of the style in the sound of Tool, the ease with which they start most of his songs, and gradually often that the song progresses, evolving sounds as well as the voice of James Keenan, a song that tells of a passion, a violent change, a dramatization, demanding melodies and energy, as much has characterized this band, genial actuacion in the battery in this song, frenetic changes, strong rhythms on the guitar, great song!. Emphasize the influence of King Crimson in this band. and top it off we have a final like Rush style. progressive rock a song in every way. and finally one of the most recognized pieces in the History of Tool as well as the name of the album: "Aenima" say the band was a follower of a tool known comedian called " Bill Hicks "RIP, where in thoughts summarizes the composition of this comedian, where the comediant firmly believes that climatic changes will fall soon and the Armageddo will come into earth, to be more accurate in LOS ANGELES, and recommend learning to swim, a really deep song where the customs of society are worthless, some addicts and some are governed. excellent composition, energy in all directions. also implied that Bill Hicks is not in his thoughts is pessimistic, if not willing to live a new change and I in my view I think with what has happened recently in the world, could be a great truth .

"Third Eye" a song where new appointments are made by comedian called Bill Hicks "and start weighting and with the typical style of Tool, with Battery Energy and striking being the basis of sound, then with a cry somewhat aggressive keenan not to lose the habit, then taken to one of King Crimson style, really frenetic, excellent, a song with many changes in the melodic aspect and the instrumental aspect, simply brilliant to give the end a great album. drumms amazing! amazing riffs! Hell Yeah!

in conclusion to this album of tool,Tool made a big step toward worldwide popularity, and beyond that, the band makes clear that progressive rock is not dead yet, and that there is still the essence of authenticity in each of its Notes.
