5 stars The title track alone already makes this album a must-listen. I like Cirkus and Indoor Games too. The other tracks appeal to me a tiny bit less.

Many, including Fripp, regarded this album as a step down compared to the two first records. But I must wholeheartedly disagree. Yes, we see some lesser tracks, but they are still very good. And the highs are extremely high.

Cirkus - A brilliant mellotron heavy opener of an adventurous album. One of the more 'traditional' pieces of Lizard, comparable with earlier work. But magnificently crafted. 9.5/10

Indoor Games - There's a lot happening on this jazzy, fun track. Saxophone, mellotron, and acoustic guitar take the front seat. But drumming and bass are great too. As is Fripp's solo in the middle. I love it. 9/10

Happy Family - a very jazzy piece about the Beatles breakup. It goes off the rails a few times and you have to be in the mood for that. I often am. 8/10

Lady of the Dancing Water - The flute takes the centre stage on this mellow piece of music. The most straightforward track of the album. 8/10

Lizard - This is an epic track. I love Jon Anderson's singing, I love the Bolero part. Then the brilliant battle. To top it off with a great Fripp solo. This is one of the greatest pieces of music I ever heard. 10/10

I give this album 4.5 stars, I will round it to 5-stars. It is unique. It is a masterpiece.
