5 stars One of the most consistent and solid progressive metal albums ever. No weak tracks. It's obvious that Metropolis Pt. II was a universal statement that shook the ground of progressive metal almost as much as Images And Words, and of course it was going to be hard to follow it up, but Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence does an absolutely amazing job.

This is one of their heaviest albums and every song is of an extended duration. The album closes with an eight-movement epic which still remains as a monumental statement in progressive metal. The first CD is also amazing. Five Stars.
