By far, the worst album of EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER in the seventies; everything about this album upsets me, the compositions are lame, the efforts are not at all good. I think they were trying to sound like a Classic Jazz big band of the 1920s but the results are a bunch of forgettable songs with not a single track that is worth saving; honestly, there is nothing in this album that deserves a second (or a first) listen. If you haven't heard it yet, go straight and pretend this never existed: you're not missing anything good. Probably "Tiger in a spotlight" (the opening song of the record) is slightly less bad (less bad is not exactly better) than the rest of the album. Honestly, avoid it at all costs.
