WISE AFTER THE EVENT

This is another great album from "planet Genesis". It would make a great Genesis album, but alas, that was never to be. However, I am very happy that Anthony Phillips brought out this music. With all it's imperfections, it's still wonderfully warm, playfully tongue-in- cheek, occasionally dark, romantic - everything that Genesis was in their prime. One or two tracks could have their place on Wind And Wuthering or Trick of The Tail, but they all bear Anthony Phillips' trademark sound. Indispensable to any real Genesis fan.
