4 stars Great begining of even greater things to come. Probably the most energetic album of the whole Camel's catalogue. Caravanesque at times (which is never a bad thing), and highly enjoyable - rocking, catchy, melodic, very well executed. Nice arrangements with classic guitar, piano/organ and flutes (from mellotron?) to broaden the typical rock sound-palette. Latimer is himself already providing beautiful guitar melodies. The band from the start clearly prefers longer song format as most of the tracks here oscillates around six minutes mark but it was nothing unusal in the 1973. In fact many masterpieces of the genre were already released when Camel made this first step, yet they managed to catch up soon with their second album - absolute masterpiece of prog "Mirage". But this lovely record musn't be missed too and should find it's place in any Camel's fan collection as a part of the golden era of the band 'till 'Breathless' (included).
