4 stars Hey, we've got Nightwish in the archives, why not? Steely Dan is not a progressive rock band as the term is used at all, but they certainly helped to progress rock music. Steely Dan were the first band to really popularize jazz rock, it had certainly been done before, but never so smoothly and with such catchy pop hooks. Do It Again, Only a Fool Would Say That, and Reelin' in the Years are a few of my favorite tracks on the album, but like all of this groups' output it's solid all the way through. One of the best pop albums of the 70's or ever in my opinion, highly recommended.
