Amon Duul II is my favorite Krautrock band and this might be my favorite album by em, a double album thats yust perfect from start too finish. The opening mini epic Soap Shop Rock is no doubt one of the best krautrock songs ever, and the rest of the songs aint that bad ither, Archangels Thunderbird, The Return of Ruebezahl and Eye-Shaking King, all of em are build on amazing riffs that stick in your head for days or forever. The other short songs are small psychedleic deliciouses, Yeti and Yeti Talks to Yogi are probobly the 2 best Psycedleic space jams the band ever did and the ending Sandoz in the Rain is so beautiful yust amazing. This is one of the ultimate Krautrock albums and one of the best ones to start with for newbies that havent heard so many it got the archtypical krautrock sound and the whoel thing is simply stunginly good. 5 solid stars to this masterpice.
