3 stars In my opinion, this is the weakest of the Moodies' "classic" albums. The idea behind "Procession" had been explored before, with "House of Four Doors", which was less long winded-why repeat the idea? Ray Thomas writes below his usual standard; his contributions are good fun, but rather pointless. Mike Pinder makes a failed assault upon Everest with "My song", which almost makes it, but ultimately fails through being too intense-at times, it slips from pathos into bathos.. I have always felt that Mike at his best was a superb songwriter; to those who are new to the Moodies I would recommend his contributions to the earlier albums.

But there are good numbers too. "The Story in Your Eyes" contains some great lyrics, plus some good guitar work. "OneTime to Live" is John Lodge at his best, a handsome improvement on the earlier work "To Share My Love" (On theTthreshold of a Dream). And yes, I secretly like "After You Came"(!)- I sometimes wonder why Graeme did not sing this song himself, since the vocal line is relatively easy.

Not perhaps a true classic, but good listening.
