5 stars Does this marvelous album need a review? I bought the L.P. in 1968 (I still have that great white gatefold cover, the giant poster and the marvelous individual color photos), then I bought the CD in the 80's, and again the "Remastered" edition on 2009 and of course one more time on 2018, the "Super Deluxe" edition (the 5.1 version in great). What can I comment that has no already been said? I love its wide range of musical styles. The songs are Mc Cartney at his best (and worst), Lennon great as always, Harrison "born again" (he took the biggest leap forward) and (for the very first time) a very entertaining Ringo. In the last 50 years my tastes have changed: At 15 I loved "Ob-la-di Ob-la-da" (I even got the "single" and treasure to this day), but now I don't like it. I never liked "Honey Pie". My favorites today are "Glass onion", "While my guitar gently weeps", "Happiness is a warm gun", "Piggies", "Yer blues". "Helter skelter", "Revolution" and "Savoy truffle". Now when I listen to it, sometimes I skip the two that I said earlier that I don't like. OK, "Revolver" was a creative leap, "Pepper" was the apex, but I enjoy listening to this one and "Abbey Road" more.
