3 stars VOX DEI.. INDECISION...

L'Uovo Di Colombo is a band with great potential. But with a controversial final debut. For me the research of catchy melody to all costs penalizes this band. In this album only "Vox Dei" is in possess of power and magic. Not for all the organ isn't used for solo moments or for the power of melody but only for the research of a diverse sound. PFM, Delirium, Dalton and Genesis are good similar bands that have (in certain sense) the melody in first plan. But in my opinion These bands are better. Great the voice of Toni Gionta but the research of west coast style vocal lines, even if very effective and attractive, mortifies its great voice (too much helped, unfortunately, from a heavy use of the echo). In definitive this album is normal today but remain, in every case, a good example of Italian Prog.
