4 stars La Dusseldorf is a nice late stage entry into the 70's Krautrock field. One of its founding fathers, and definitely the most overlooked, is Klaus Dinger - the brains behind this band. Combining (among others) pop, prog, ambient, space, and that motorik beat that keeps Dinger's name alive, this album expands on Dinger's work with Neu! quite nicely and reveals his vision with elegance and grace.

The second side is terrific. Silver Cloud is a wispy, airy spacestrumental and Time is a definitive closing statement. All the ingredients are here for a classic album, and all spacey Kraut lovers should give La Dusseldorf a try.
