EPILOG

EPILOG, by ANGLAGARD. What can I say about it?... just what I was looking for. An instrumental extremly progressive, agressive dark, but also beautyfull, charming and even sometimes relaxing album from one of the greatest swedish 90's prog-bands. Just listen to the instrumentation, the female voices dancing in a dark and foggy night in the middle of the forest, the flute passages giving a break in the meddle of a chase, and the guitars playing that beautyfull melody in the almost ending of Sista Somrar. This is my vision of the album fellows. Each song creates a funny ambient, because you can find yourselve in the middle of Skogsranden (track 4) hanged tight to your seat, feeling the punch of each beat trough your chest, until ,from nowhere, a flute comes into the scene, and leaves you upside down. I must say it, JUST AWESOME. But anyway, I give this album 4.5 stars, because you can live without it, but once you have heared, and you have payed attention to what this swedish fellows want to say, yo can leave it out of your personal collection.
