1 stars It is strange to see this single album without a review, since this song is truly popular. And maybe that is the reason progressive rock fans had not taken the time to review it, because this radio- friendly track has nothing to do with the prog, long songs Yes have and we love.

So, it was the 80s and the direction of music in general changed, even some symphonic prog bands decided to move and took new decisions. Yes was also caught in that wave, and the clear example was the release of "90125", a completely 80s album that did not completely lose the progressive rock element, but most of it morphed into a rockier, electronic and even poppier sound that gave a lot to talk about.

Yes fans were not happy with it, but incidentally, the band earned a vast amount of new fans with this different phase, so you know, pros and cons, swings and roundabouts. Radio stations opened a lot of spaces to play "Owner of a Lonely Heart"; a song that nowadays still sounds in commercial radio (at least here in Mexico), so the hit existed, and prevails.

So with the good response, a single was released, and though it is just for collectors, some curious people might like to get it and listen (and why not, enjoy) to the 4 different versions of the same song. Of course the first track is the original song, while the rest are remixes. I honestly have enough with the original, the remixes are not bad, but well, I can easily skip them. Anyway, the importance of this song plays a main role in the history of this iconic band.

My final grade, 1 star. However... Enjoy it!
