5 stars Well, this is a great album, but not "an essencial masterpiece of progressive music".

It's just a bunch of superb alt. pop-rock songs, with Fake Plastic Trees, Street Spirit and High & Dry being highlights. This album is the perfect bridge between the depressive grunge of Pablo Honey and the tender, melancholic OK Computer. This is, IMO, the pure and authentic style of Radiohead at his peak, before the more experimental and electronic Kid A and the following LPs, Amnesiac and Hail To The Thief.

This one, togheter with OK Computer, are the essencial band's discography and if you want to know them, I recommend to start with it, or with OKputer. Thom Yorke has a great feeling in his voice, and the lyrics are sometimes intrincated but excellent, and the music... What can I say? Five stars.

P.D.: Three stars if we are rigorous PROG reviewers.

P.D.: My english isn't the best. Excuse me.
