4 stars A collection of un-connected songs (1994-1999) that act as individual spaces or "rooms", that when put up together, enhance each one and the other, with a unique identity. As if to invite the listener to different "room-environments" or emotional spaces. Alio Die in this selection (and as the second part of this Ambient "trilogy"), also makes it quiet clear, how his music has evoluted, into an own language, that is always personal and intimate, and yet quiet "universal". His language refinement is perfectly stated in this project... The first thing you must understand when entering Alio Die's world, is to change your perception of time, his, is not "background" music, to get the best of this enticing world, you have to slow down. If so, in turn, this music will offer all its "hidden" secrets and beauties.... If you are more into concrete concepts and words and references, well you will miss half the trip, to this extraordinary "evironmental, electronically generated blend of electro-acoustics", with the unmistakable identity of this musician's genius. **** 4 Solid PA stars!
