5 stars I got a copy of this as soon as it was released....... nearly six years ago now. It takes a special album to still be in my most played list so long after release! This is a story of touching emotion, of fears, and sadnesses and human betrayals, it is real and full of passion, there is no "filling" here, it is an out pouring of lost love, and of future hopes.. and as such is superb. This album tends to fall in two camps, those who "get it" and those who do not. Of the folk I know, those who have had a life crisis such as described in the music and lyrics understand this album without a moments hesitation, those who have not tend to be those who don't understand it. Ok, that is a generalisation and obviously there are exceptions. The three part track "Not Of This World" I believe to be well balanced and the final track "Green Eyed Angel" is beautiful, but for me the clinchers on this album has to be "dance of the Seven Veils" incredible, emotional and stunningly powerful and the opening track "If I were the wind" I heard in an interview with Nick Barrett that this song is about his feelings for his son at the time of his divorce. It has strength and gentleness and a beautiful melody.

Wonderful Album, for me it ticks all the right boxes, hence the rating. Fabulous!
