I would be really curious for the Dordeduh album.
I really like Virstele Pamintului( the first album by the "new" Negura Bunget), but a band contiuing more the direction of OM would really nice.Smile

Extreme Prog Metal? Here are the bands that would fit that genre on my portable listening device:

Agalloch, Alchemist, Anacrusis, Animals as Leaders, Arcturus, Atheist, Ayreon(?), Believer, Between the Buried and Me, Blotted Science, Botch(?), Celtic Frost, Control Denied, Converge(?), Cult of Luna, Cynic, Dan Swano, Death, DTP, Edge of Sanity, Emperor, Enslaved, Martyr, Mekong Delta, Opeth, Sculptured, Spastic Ink, Unexpect, Vektor, Voivod, Watchtower.

Ayreon has a few growls but might not even be considered metal by some. Botch and Converge sure are technical, but maybe not progressive.

Thanks for the heads up on this group, I was unaware of them, but I really enjoy Negura Bunget, so I will check this out.

Yes, we definitely need reviews in these fields. Plus, people with enough reviews can always make into the higher ranks of PA, so this is definitely a good thing for everyone!

If you go to Suggest new bands(4th page),you will see Katatura.It's a band that I had suggested to the members to hear.Check it out if you want.I think that is a good band from Djent.

2. It's a Schecter Damien Elite 8.  I may look at an Ibanez for my next 8.

2)Congratulations for your 8-string guitar!(Is it Ibanez?)

3)If you remember,I had created a poll about Djent(there is in General music discussions).I had said that when a kind of music starts to become bigger will exist bands that will not be so worthy.Unfortunately,it's logical and normal.

In response to the djent thing,
I've been really big into djent scene recently (hell, I bought an 8 string two months ago) and I agree, the genre is being done to death.  Being involved in it and seeing lots of new bands come and try to rise, very few have much distinction or really bring anything new to the table, with maybe the exception of TesseracT.
While Periphery and Meshuggah show that they can kick serious ass doing all djent stuff, I think Animals as Leaders has shown that djent works best as moreso of a seasoning, or a little flavor to add every so often.  Really that's what I plan on doing when I start writing music as well.
