Dotzauer biography
DOTZAUER formed in late 2011 in Treviso, Italy, conceived by bassist Sebastiano POZZOBON and guitarist Matteo GASPARIN, followed by drummer Nick RIGATO, who later joined the band. After positive reception regarding early live shows, additional musicians were recruited to further develop their sound, combining aspects of atmospheric sludge metal with post metal stylistics akin to acts such as ISIS and CULT OF LUNA. During 2012 the band was signed to Red Sound Records and their first full length album, ''Deep'', was released on October 1st, 2013. A concept album about drowning, the additional musicians involved in this project are Alberto BRUNELLO on vocals, Francesco DEL PIA on keyboards and Valerio ZANIBELLATO on guitar.
